Malaria is a very dangerous disease that kills one million people every year. The children are the ones who suffer most: every 30 seconds a child dies due to the consequences of the malaria. As there still isn’t a vaccine against the malaria, mosquito nets provide the only safe and effective protection against this infection.

UNICEF provides and distributes mosquito nets and informative flyers to the affected zones in Africa. The Swiss company Getunik developed a Flash tool that encourages and assists visitors to donate mosquito nets on the UNICEF website. The artwork for the animation was created by epicentro.
