Wagner asked epicentro to design a company profile for sales representatives, trade shows and other events.

For this purpose, MS PowerPoint was chosen because of its wide distribution and excellent printability.

The company profile was unexpectedly well accepted, so that the client decided to distribute it on a larger scale. 40 MB Digicards, rectangular CDs the size of a business card, turned out to be just perfect for this project.

As time went by, the sales representatives asked to add more information such as brochures and a product catalog in German and English. With a large choice of PDF and PowerPoint files, a platform had to be created from which to select the language and whatever document the user might want to view. This is where Macromedia Director excels because it handles just about any format and allows for superb intros and animations.

At this point, the amount of data exceeded by far the capacity of a Digicard. The latest version of the company profile was therefore distributed on CD.
